Before COVID-19, our family would head down to Mulgoa for First Fridays where we would help with a Sung Votive Mass of the Sacred Heart followed by a few devotions, like the Litany of the Sacred Heart and the Act of Reparation and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
It worked really well. Most Masses had the same propers. A few times we had to learn new music.
Today we tuned in to the online version, on FSSP Parramatta’s Youtube then jumped ship to Maternal Heart’s Facebook Livestream. They were both great - see for yourself. Maternal Heart of Mary Church has a great advantage in the acoustics and much more space.
Anyway, by the end of singing all verses of Vexilla Regis, we sort of forgot about Compline, and it was getting late, so I apologise for not having a recording tonight. I hope the video links above make up the loss.
